Description
A long dress (a) and full-length jacket (b), both hand-made with heavy green floral patterned brocade upholstery fabric. The dress is sleeveless and has an empire waist, deep V neckline with modesty panel. Zipper close at back. The jacket has 3/4 length sleeves, no collar, and is lined with plain lighter green fabric.
Additional Information
Handmade by Helen Beswick to wear with her husband to a dinner with Pierre Trudeau and other Liberal members in 1971. There is a program for the dinner (2018.003.002).
